The formwork is completed (18 November 2005)

The formwork is completed, and the reinforced steel is laid. I will explain the technical bits in a later post, but these are some of the photos after we finished the preparation. I am SO excited not to have to do any more digging!!! Next week we will get the concrete truck, and pour the foundations. Woo-hooo!!!!


This is the preparation for the water feature foundation.
The black pit will house the equipment (pump, etc).


This is the formwork for the side of the house. It was
the most complex of the lot, as it has a very deep
foundation to assist with proper ventilation and
avoid humidty problems.
